Lately I´m in the habit of sewing a skirt each holiday, and that´s what did last Christmas.
A couple of weeks before Christmas I bought a piece of patterned corduroy. I love paterned fabrics, even if it´s more difficult to match them with other garments, I can´t resist to buy them.
Tengo dos patrones básicos, uno de falda bastante recta y otro de falda de capa. Pero esta vez tuve (tuvimos, siempre tengo ayuda familiar) que buscar una opción intermedia, ya que la quería con vuelo pero no había suficiente tela para una falda de capa.
I usually use two basic patterns, one of them for quite straight skirts and the other for cape skirts. This time I wanted a full skirt but I haven´t got enough fabric for a cape skirt, so, I looked for (we looked for, as my aunts always help me) a different option:
